Anyone on the mailing list is automatically assigned a consignor number. If you have received an email newsletter for any JBF event you are already on the mailing list.


If you are NOT currently on the mailing list you can click sign up in the top right hand corner of this page and receive a consignor number~ The consignor number you receive can be used at any JBF sale across the nation!


Remember to register for each sale you want to consign in.

You may start preparing items now. However, you still need to register if consigning in the next event.

Reminders of the sale:

WE ACCEPT NO STUFFED ANIMALS UNLESS THEY ARE LEARNING OR ELECTRONIC!!!!  This is due to increase of lice and bedbug outbreaks.  Thanks for your understanding.

Sleepers & onesies must be on hangers(not in baggies).
No VHS tapes.
Only new underwear/panties in the package
.

Shoes can no longer be in bags (use zipties or string). Infant shoes sizes 0-1 can be in a bag.


Barcoding your tags:
We have an easy online bar-coding system to help you prepare your tags. Please go to www.myjbftags.com to get started.
Bar-coded tags are required, hand-written tags can not be accepted.

Clothing Guidelines:
Please pay careful attention to what you bring. We try to keep a reputation of being the best!  Please help us attain that goal by only bringing clothing purchased within the last 5 years. Check the "merchandise prep" page for more specific information.

Limiting Number of Clothing Items:
You can bring as many high quality items as you would like, remember we only accept the best! We are only taking 10 BEST Maternity/10 BEST Juniors!!!!

Consign with us and shop early:
All consignors participating in the current sale will receive a consignor presale pass. This pass allows you to shop the day before we open to the public. You will receive your passes when you drop your items off at the sale. It also allows for the consignors, volunteers, and first time moms to shop the 50% presale!!!!


Remember no children, strollers, or wagons allowed into the pre-sales. UNTIL AFTER 7:00pm

Volunteer with us and shop EXTRA early and make extra percentage........
Consignors who choose to volunteer also earn an extra 10%. As this event continues to grow in size and great merchandise there is an increasing demand for volunteers.

Please consider joining the wonderful volunteers who help make the JBF event such a success! Volunteers get the best selection when they shop extra early.
Also, If you are consigning you make 60%  (minus a $12 consignor fee). Volunteer you will receive 70% of your sales instead of 60%.  Make sure you check the volunteer box during registration to see all of the volunteer opportunities.

Invite Other "Friends" to Participate
The JBF sale continues to grow due to the incredible base of loyal consignors and shoppers who are constantly telling others about this great event. Please email us if you would like to receive a color flier or poster to display in your work place.

Your Check's In the Mail
Your consignor check will be mailed exactly 2 weeks after the sale completion.  Consignors make 60% of the selling price (a $12 consignor fee will be deducted from your check). Remember if you volunteer you will make 70%.

Have an OLD consignor # ?

We will be sorting all Universal Consignor numbers first. If time allows we will be sorting tags with OLD consignor numbers.

To ensure that all your items get sorted. We recommend PRINTING your new universal consignor number on return address labels. Then place them OVER your old number. Where it says Consignor # 1234 (middle left side of the tag.) Please use as large as font as the space on the labels will allow.

If you can't get labels on your tags, then you will need to mark through, and write with permanent black fine point marker, your new univeral consignor number.

PLEASE UNDERSTAND IF YOUR TAG ISN'T EASY TO READ IT WILL NOT BE SORTED.  IT WILL BE LEFT ASIDE FOR YOU TO GO THROUGH.

*Place NO stickers on the tags other then above.**

**You can get inexpensive return address labels at Office Depot, Wal-Mart, Target or Dollar Store.** Only have a few items share the cost with friend/s and split the envelope of labels.**

INSPECTION!!!

JBF will be conducting strict inspection of your items. Items that do not pass inspection will be marked and returned to you. We reserve the right to remove any unacceptable items from the sales floor during the event.

Once you’ve checked in you will be placing your clothes on the racks in their sizes, toys and other items around the room in the appropriate labeled areas.

We do NOT have a "PERFECT CONSIGNOR" list for the Germantown/Port Washington during the inspection.  We try the very BEST to give our consignors a FAST, EASY, and PAINLESS check in!!! Please NOTE to have that then the consignor need to come prepared!!!

 

All things TAGGING:

The better your clothes look (and smell), the higher your sales will be! Think fresh and clean here. We’ve got some great info for you on how to make the most of your item sales.  Don't forget to hang your clothing items the correct way on hanger.  (When looking at the hanger in front of you..make sure it makes a question mark in front of you at the top of hanger).  The picture above shows the way it should look!! Remember, clothes need to be in style and NOT outdated!!!

Special to Germantown/Port Washington Sale

At the Germantown/Port Washington sale we suggest that you use tagging guns to make tagging go much more quickly!

You can get a tagging gun kit by emailing  ammiemaltz@jbfsale.com.

Each kit includes tagging gun, barbs, cardstock, an extra needle.  The cost of the tagging gun kit is $20.00.  This will SAVE lots of time during your tagging!!!

If not a tagging gun...please use safety pins and make sure they are secured on items!!!
